Our trip to Southern California was fantastic. We're back and we're tired! But, we have over 200 pictures to prove that we've been there and done that! What adventures. Thanks to my mom and Travis for making it happen. My kids loved seeing all the animals and characters and being with Grandma and Travis and I loved the adventure. It was a great trip.
So, we were in San Diego for three days and Anaheim for four. We made it to the San Diego Zoo, Wild Life Animal Park, and Sea World. In Anaheim we made it to Disneyland and California Adventure. We hit the beach, hit the pool, hit the pillows each night. We saw the Smith family in Irvine and saw the Irvine and San Diego Temple's. We ate like pigs and Ethan now requests a Diet Coke for his beverage choice! Alex slept in the baby bjorn more than on a bed or in the stroller. We snuggled a lot. We got halloween costumes for the older kids, saw all the princesses and Buzz Lightyear and Mickey Mouse. We saw Disneyland all decked out for Halloween. My favorite was the Haunted Mansion as it was decked out with Jack Skellington for the Holidays. Amazing stuff.
So, here are a few pictures from our whirl-wind eight day adventure to So. California. We loved it all. Enjoy!

The kids at the Zoo. We took two days to see all the animals and I think we even missed some!
We got to partake in a dolphin encounter while at Sea World. A trainer taught us some things and let us feed and pet this dolphin. The kids, especially Kedzie who is now going to be a dolphin trainer, were in heaven.
It was a special treat to meet Zoe and Elmo at Sea World.

"Shamu...Shamu..."

The kids at the San Diego Temple

Alex would fall asleep whenever we put this "magic hat" on his head. Aren't these boys so stinkin' cute?! I love them both so much.

We had a really close encounter with a hippo at the zoo!
The beach, the beautiful, peaceful, wonderful beach.
This is where my kids laughed the most during our trip.

Our best family portrait of the whole trip! Beautiful feet eh?!

Here we are at Sleeping Beauty's Castle. Yeah!
We loved seeing Mickey Mouse
Cinderella was really excited to meet her protege and mini Prince Charming

The kids literally got whatever they wanted for a whole week. Spoiled!
We met my old Roomie Camille and her kids at California Disney one night. We had such a great time with them. Chloe and Kedzie are the same age and really, really got along well. Wish we lived closer so they could be great friends. We had a wonderful time with the Smith gals. Love ya.
Of course my children are horse magnets. This was the first time that I ever rode in the horse drawn carriage at Disneyland. It was a lot of fun!

Thanks Grandma Mary for a great trip and for giving my kids rides on the scooter.
Here's the haunted mansion all decked out for Halloween and Christmas.

Fire Chief Ethan with his crew: Kedzie and Alex
We love Disneyland! We love San Diego! We love Grandma Mary! We love spending time together as a family and making wonderful memories that may not be remembered, but create a piece of the person that my children will become. We're grateful for the opportunity we had to go on such a magical adventure.
