He's an adult man child!

HAPPY 18th BIRTHDAY!
I can hardly believe 18 years have already flown by. What joy and stress you have brought us! You taught us how to be the parent of boys! You are so full of life and energy. You are amazing.

We gave Ethan a gift a day for 18 days leading up to his birthday. Fun gifts like a toilet bowl cleaner and a belt and buckle and santitizer etc. All fun things for college; mostly!

The day was full of wrestling and not eating! Regionals was the weekend of his birthday where he took 6th in his weight class of 144. We went down on his birthday and watched him win some amazing matches. We then flew the next day to celebrate Kedzie's birthday and left him home to wrestle and be with friends.

Oh man do we love this guy.

The weekend ended with a steak dinner and dessert with his friends at the Foran's. He's so lucky to have such a strong group of friends and family.

Here are some additional photos from the rest of the tournament. He finally beat his friend from Germany that he lost to twice this season. It's a moment he will never forget.

These two photos are the best. After his last wrestling win and after his last wrestling match. We are all so grateful that he found wrestling. He found a place where he belonged with his physicality and his emotions. We are so proud of the work he put into the sport and grateful for the coaches over the four years who continued to mentor him through it all. Way to go Ravi! What's next?
