Jefferson Cup for Alex

I had the privilege of being one of the chaperone's to the Jefferson Cup with Alex and his teammates in Richmond, Virginia. It's such a beautiful area and it's always fun to watch my kids play soccer. Bonus if other people pay my way to be a chaperone! lol

Very talented group of nice young men.

They came in third in their bracket after beating a team that was a shoe in for the finals. The boys sent them packing back home. The other team was so angry. The boys didn't play their best games until that last one but the learning that went on over the long weekend was priceless. 

We did have to move hotels within the first 30 minutes of arrival. Thanks a lot Red Roof Inn for being so gross. It was fun to make jokes about you. 

I adore this kid. Grateful he will let me tag along on some of his adventures. 

Did I mention we ate out a lot at some fun restaurants! lol
