Summer is a fun time of year mostly because there's no school. It's also hard because you have a hard time meeting up with friends. Matthew and Erin came for dinner one Sunday night and it was so wonderful to hear the boys in the backyard laughing and goofing around. Love them forever.
We are getting closer to driving! Everyone was out of town and Alex and I were the old ones around, so he got to drive around the high school lot and was awesome! December is when he'll be able to start his classes and Triston will begin in late August. CRAZEEE
Proof that I force them to serve others on occasion!
Brothers always and forever.
One early morning. No fire, just glowing orange!
Ethan got a real job!!! He worked hard all of June mowing lawns and getting money for food and fun. Our friend Cheri works at THE Home Depot and she totally hooked him up with a cashier job and he loves it. He said I wasn't allowed to go see him at work, so we went in and I saw him, he never saw us! So sneaky. He loves talking to people and getting to know regulars. He loves working with Cheri and Janet. It's truly a blessing that he has this job. During school he'll work on Saturdays, but for now, he'll work whenever they need him. It's awesome.
Camden came out for a week and Ethan was the cruise director! All the boys had a great week. Thanks to Laurie for taking them rafting and for the fun bridge and Elitches. They are a great group of kids.

Kedzie did some swim lessons, worked a few weeks at Chick-fil-a Orchard and then a blessing landed in her lap. Being a nanny for Liam! Natalie needed someone to watch him and Kedzie needed a purpose. They are the best little friends. He loves Alex as well. She'll miss him when she goes to college. But seriously, a blessing from Heaven.
Natalie took Janessa, Kedzie and Liam to the zoo one day.
Alex participated in Regis University's Elite Soccer Camp and spent five days and four nights on campus and had a blast. Great opportunity to make new friends and progress in soccer.
I haven't had a car this summer with both kids working! I regularly get a ride to work from Travis and Phoebe and then someone picks me up. Travis and Phoebe mostly and this is how she watches for me and her little buns just go crazy when she knows its me coming.
Karen found a Book of Mormon and my mom's testimony from 1978 inside a drawer in Relief Society. She sent it to me and plans to get it to me when we see each other next. What a gift from my mom. Seriously, how in the world?! I needed it and I'm grateful for the message from Heaven and reminder of how wonderful the Book of Mormon is for me when I read it.
