Bring it on 2023

Happy 2023!
Alex, Kedzie, Travis, Ethan, Camden and I enjoyed a lovely New Years Eve fondu dinner and then the oldest of us all went to bed pretty early and exhausted from life! lol. But, we look forward to the adventures and learning this new year will bring us. We missed Triston but talked with him on the phone.

Love these boys! Celebrating the new year.

Alex in shorts and a t-shirt in below freezing temps. Normal!

Um....Wiley is naughty and got spooked and ate Alex for lunch. Some antibiotics and a wash out and it was back to normal within a week.

Cute Stem Lab 8th graders at lunch...again in shorts!

Grateful to be doing hard things and fun things with Travis by my side.

From Tiffany as we were preparing to pick up Triston from the hospital

Nuf Said sent us a text saying that they were "behind us" and supporting us always.

The perfect scripture for the day involving the challenges with Triston.

The Thornton crew (Lisa) brought us some much food one night from Olive Garden. We were full for days! Although, the breadsticks only lasted 24 hours.

Travis is faithful and went to the temple one early morning after dropping Ethan off at his tourney.

Proof of his wrestling skills

Triston came home on the 5th. We were happy to have him back. He was angry to be back and ran away within hours of being home. He went to the gas station for soda with a blanket, $10 and some chips and m&m's. We called the police, Erin, Anne, Jill, Matthew, Kristine and Janessa went to search for him. He was home within the hour. Our friends walked in just before he did and he witnessed the love others have for him. It was a blessing. He and Matthew hugged and he was done with running. He also used a razor prior to running on his arm, but nothing serious. He's just struggling. We've sense been to a therapist who plans to help him with communication, reality, sexuality and abandonment issues. He has a lot of work to do. I hope he'll chose to put in the work. We are choosing him and helping him through all of this. There's more to the story, but I'll type it somewhere else. Just glad he's back and safe.

The OG's back at Defy. Love these boys.

T at a field trip

My favorite Suzanne who channels my mom on a regular basis. It was her birthday and she went all out! She's pretty amazing.

Kedzie teaching in Kinder at Stem with Jina!

More wrestling photos. Ethan is so committed with maintaining the right weight and with attending matches on Saturdays. It's pretty impressive. As of today, Ethan is 15 and 5. Go Ravi!

Kedzie and her violin skills. She was honored to spend an entire day learning and playing with other musical artists in the county.

Our life with four teenagers is emotional, unpredictable, sad, fun, crazy, chaotic, wonderful and full. We are blessed to be guided and directed by a loving Heavenly Father and Travis and I are so lucky to have each other. We are currently going day to day, but so far so good since the 6th. Here we go!
