How do I sum up our summer? Soccer, sunshine, Utah, girls camp, chillin at home and friends. It was a pretty great summer. July flew by so quickly. The boys has XR camp fora week with their bestie soccer friends while Ethan just hung out with his friends every day.
We finally made it to the Temple as an entire family! It was one of the best days ever for me. I've been planning this day for years and I was so grateful everyone attended. I love this family of mine and I'm so grateful we were able to enter the temple to complete proxy baptisms for so many. We went with the Holland's and clearly Perry is part of the fam!
3v3 in Colorado Springs got the boys a 2nd place. It was a long drive and a long day, but fun nonetheless.
Because I'm the team manager for both teams, I got them to work out 1-2 times a week with soccer coaches. Here they are running hills with Selena. They also did finishing with Nick. Always something to work on and because they conditioned, they are ready for the new season.
Brothers!
For five Wednesdays, we participated in Broomfield 5's again this summer. Brothers + 1. Gunns, Bradford's, Ravsten's and Kaiden. We pretty much won 4/5 games and love this tradition we do with our friends.
Kedzie was a YCL this year at girls camp and she owned it! She got tons of service hours and had a great time leading all the girls throughout the four days. So proud of her and all she has learned and how she is growing into an amazing human being. Love being her mom.
Phoebe's favorite spot to wait for me to come home.
My cute Phoebe and Ethan!
My favorite soccer moms! Jina and Deysi. Supporting our boys...always.
3v3 in Littleton
2nd place again for I am Speed
1st place for the first time for Goal Diggers. Triston's 08 buddies have been playing 3v3 for probably 3 years and haven't medaled until this tournament. This one felt so good. The worked hard, had only one sub and had so much fun. They are champions for never quitting and they finally were rewarded with the gold medal!
Braylon, Cris, Trindon, Alex, Wyatt and Cristian
Romare, Triston, Gael and Chris
I was their coach this weekend which meant I asked them what they needed to work on and how they could win and they coached themselves while I cheered from the sidelines!
Chick Fil A Larkridge treated the boys with shakes for winning due to their attitudes about not giving up!
These boys....they're crazy and they're lucky to have each other and their mothers who keep them on the right path. Love Adam, Daniel, Ravi and Tanner...not to forget Mason and Owen as well, just not pictured here but Ethan has spent plenty of time with them all summer long.
Kedzie has the best job at Chick Fil A Larkridge. They had a team family party that we attended the end of the month. She loves her job and her co-workers. We are grateful for the amazing environment she works in almost daily.
Camden had a three hour lay over in Denver, so I picked up boys and then picked up Camden at the airport for an adventure for pizza and wandering Walmart. They are goofy, and smart, and cute and fourteen year old boys whom I love. They had a great three hour adventure.
