We love the entire Christmas season around here from Thanksgiving through the new year. We have done quite a few things with the Bradfords the week of Christmas and it was fun. Kedzie has become friends with Jina's niece Audrey and they both love to cook. We had a day with the Bradford's and Floyd's where we baked many, many cookies and then the girls made cupcakes together the next day.
This is one of my new favorite pictures of the Saviors birth
Phoebe was no help when it came to wrapping!
I nominated a teacher from school that has taught all four of my kids math in 6th grade. She has been a tremendous influence on each one of them and their level. It's amazing they've all had her. I was lucky enough to have Nuf Said draw her name for $100 cash! She was pretty excited too.
Cooking baking with Bradford's and Floyd's. Grateful for good friends.
Buddies who golf together, stay together. Love these boys and their mom for taking them to Top Golf
Triston got a nice note from his computer science teacher!
Anyone know where Phoebe can get a hair dye job?!!!!
Luke Brinker from Alex's soccer team moved back to Chicago before Christmas. This was our attempt at a farewell party for him. He had a broken leg so it was different, but we are grateful for his friendship and the chance to say farewell to a great kid and family.
Selfies while shopping!
A major, quick decision was made before Christmas! Kedzie has chosen to go to Kenya with HEFY this summer. She only wanted to go with cousin Emi, who couldn't go so she bravely decided for herself that she needed to go on the 17 day adventure on her own. She'll make new friends, eat new people and be around the animals she has grown up loving. She's already made a friend from Oregon who's also 15 right now. I was encouraging her to go to Fiji or Ecuador and she spoke up saying how much more she'd rather go to Kenya, Africa! I'm so proud her already and know that she will come back stronger in all levels. She's amazing and brave and wants to pay for the trip herself. She is making good money at CFL and could possibly just do that! We are hoping and praying that travel will resume by June 23rd so my girl can have the trip of her life!
Ethan and his squad. Adam, Tanner, Ravi, Ethan, Owen, Daniel and Mason...their annual Christmas party in our basement that needs to be redecorated to look more manly!!!
Last day of online learning! Couldn't have come quickly enough. We were done! Going back online on the 7th and then hopefully in person on the 25th of January.
Grandma did it again. Her twelve days of Christmas never cease to amaze me. The kids love opening a gift every morning and she is so thoughtful and kind.
If you don't see Santa, he won't come! I believe and clearly these kids do too! PS. Ethan isn't high! I love these kids, I love Christmas. Life is hard, but it is worth it.
