Girls Camp/Covid day camp style

As Young Women President, I got to decide what our ward would do for girls camp this year. Our stake encouraged us to do something unique and I had already called the most amazing camp director, Lori, so we began planning.  We initially planned for everything to be zoom, but two weeks prior to camp, the church allowed us to return to church once a month and the stake and bishop gave us the thumbs up to hold an in person "covid camp!" We social distanced as much as possible, we wore masks when needed, we were outside, inside one room at church and we had the most amazing time ever.  We had fourteen girls participate and only one was via zoom, the rest were in person. It made my heart and soul happy. I've heard that all the girls enjoyed themselves as well.  Grateful to Lori for her commitment and excitement to make all of this happen and to our Bishop who said to go for it!
