More random and fall fun

We are a busy and mostly happy family.  I have to remind myself of all the fun times so that they outweigh the hard time.  Being a parent in my biggest challenge in life.  Being calm and loving most of the time is difficult. But, I do everything for my kids and my husband.  They make me happy and when they are happy, I am happy.  It's a good deal, I think.

Here are some more random happenings from the end of summer to early fall.  Enjoy!
The three stooges.  love them!

Alex and his soccer team after a Saturday win

Ethan and his buddy Tanner after a game

Ethan and his buddy Daniel

Alex, playing some soccer

We even teach the dog what school is best! Go Aggies!

Alex, so pumped about his first soccer tournament.  It was 6v6 and they didn't keep score, but we beat every team we played.  They had six games, I think, in one day. Maybe four.  But, the boys played like champions and were awesome.

Thanks to Rick, we had another fantastic night of soccer. We traded Kedzie and Bergen for the night. Ava and Kedzie had fun together and the boys both love soccer and being together.  They even got another autograph from Watts.  It was a win for the Rapids.

And a win for the Broncos and me and my new jersey!

My three little piggies before a Storm/Colombia game

For the first time, we had the boys play fall basketball. It coincided with some soccer games, but the three boys found a great team and coach and have enjoyed doing both sports at the same time.  They are getting really good at both games.

A girl and her sleeping dog!

Kedzie stretching at dance with Bailey and Ruby.

Triston has had some wire issues with his braces...ya think?!

Members of team Colombia! Between the coach and the parents, each kid on the team got a soccer uniform because they are simply awesome kids!

And I get a Von Miller bobble head!

Kedzie had her first middle school dance.  She went with her friends Bridget and Tori.  But, she was "asked out" by a boy named Alex! He's in her orchestra class and they seem to get along well.  My story...she came to the car one day and asked me if I knew what "going out" meant and then proceeded to tell me that Alex had asked her to the dance.  When I told her she couldn't go with him, she made other plans, but planned to meet him and dance with him at the dance.  Such innocence and cuteness.  I love this girl.  She is amazing.  Finding all new friends this year and most of these new friends are new kids to the area or the school.  Learning how to interact with boys, learning to play the violin, working hard in her math, learning to keep the emotional monster at bay.  So proud of her and all the work she puts into living her life.  And, isn't she beautiful?!

Alex has a tooth problem...

A severe...all I want for Christmas is my two front teeth problem!

Ethan had a great season as goalie for his select team with Brian Simms as his coach.  Brian gave him the Captain America award because of his leadership skills.  He truly was a leader on the team.  This was his last season with Broomfield as it was Brian's last season as well.  I'm moving all the boys over to Storm for a new experience. But, I'm so proud of how much Ethan improved in his game.  Especially as a goalie.  He's awesome.

Ethan's class shirts were tie dyed this year!

We live in a beautiful place. I love Colorado

These three! Love them.

Triston lucked out this season when Erin and I decided to move the boys to Storm and be coached by Alfonso and Joe.  What an amazing team and the improvement in Triston's game was incredible.  He is stronger and better than ever.  He even won a game for the team by scoring an important goal.  So grateful for good coaches to mold my boys.  We were lucky this season to have Brian Simms for Ethan, Brian Mercer for Alex and Alfonso Romero for Triston.  Good men.

One October weekend we headed to Rocky Mountain National Park! Ethan has a free pass because he's a 4th grader, so we must take advantage this year if possible.  We took family and individual pictures.  They turned out great.  Here are just a few of my favorites.  Not photoshopped. We had a fun day together in the mountains.

And on our way home, we stopped for some expensive pumpkins! Tis the season.
