Utah

OH Utah, I have such a love/hate relationship with you. I hate the emotions leading up to traveling there, but once I'm there, I love everything you offer.  Family, friends, fun. You are the best. 

Our family party was the middle of July this year, so we could enjoy perfectly beautiful, warm weather.  It didn't disappoint. We all fit in the new pilot, including Wiley right in-between mom and dad. He was a champ passenger.  

We stayed with Grandma and Reggie the whole time. We found some kittens from the neighbors to play with.  They were so much fun. 

We went to Braxton's house and got to ride four wheeler's for the first time.  Ethan and Kedzie actually did a pretty good job driving! 

We spent an evening with Travis's cousins Rob and McCall and their kids.  Kedzie got to ride a horse and they all got to play in the hay and have a great time with cousins. 

Of course we spent some time at Utah State.  Had to update our wardrobe with some t-shirts and since we won't make it to a game this year, had to visit the stadium.  Must keep brainwashing!

We spent almost an entire day with Diana and Gary.  They home and their land are so special to all of us.  Gary was a trooper as he had to continually drive the kids around on the 4 wheeler.  We had dinner with Lola and Tip as well.  It was a special day for all of us. We are blessed to have such wonderful family. 

Wiley loved being free and in the wild! He even mistook the water for grass and took his first swim. He didn't like it at all!

Our kids love Diana.  Travis and I love Diana too! 

We stopped to say hello to Grandma Mary. It was good for us all. 

And we had ice cream and saw the Brigham City Temple with Karen. 

We spent another evening with Carrie and Josh and their family.  So much fun! Climbing the ladder to pick cherries, play on the trampoline and in the water. Cousin time is so special.  

We loved our time with Grandma and Reggie and think Grandma should start wearing these glasses again. Maybe?

Dad turned 38 while we were in Utah. We had fun eating cake. 

Our kids love going to the "Farm" to see Lily and Sam. They were wild and crazy and had a great time with the friends they see once or twice a year.

Our family party was on a farm and Iva was in charge, so it was a blast. It's always so great to connect with family since we live so far away from everyone. We all loved the day. 

Red Neck waterslide was insane.

The small pond was the draw. Kayaks, wooden diving boards, paddle boards and family.

Kedzie always loves reconnecting with Cara and Emi

And of course, Diana let Kedzie and Ethan take her for a drive!

We brought Kedzie's friend Olivia home from Utah and can gratefully say we loved our week with family, friends and fun in Utah.
