Some randoms...

Here are some pictures that I don't think I've posted and quite simply, make me happy!  That's all!
Kedzie stealing my phone for some shots!

Mustache day at school!

I'm the Beehive Counselor in YW and we went on a great hike for camp in May!
These girls are awesome.

Kedzie's back, in about a 7 week period, went from a 32 degree curve (right)
to a 24 degree curve (left). She still goes to Ft. Collins twice a week (last week, she went four times).  She hasn't complained once!  We've been blessed with a car pool that just finished this week.  We are eager to see how the rest of her treatment goes.  She'll be done with her 35 sessions the end of July and then we'll hopefully just continue to do maintenance for another hundred years, until she stops growing!

Here's her latest contraption and the little brother that had to give it a shot!

One of our new friends is Dianne Winckler.  She's moved in a few houses and one street away.  We've been blessed to have her come into our lives.  She's one of three people certified to babysit for Mr. T and she has so many traits that my mom had.  One day, she had the kids come over to make swords!  She had them cut them, hammer the nails in and paint them.  Just so they could be amazing pirates!  Something my mom would have done with them for sure.  We love Dianne!

On Memorial Day, the older kids were at horse camp, so we just had two kids to two adults!  What a treasure for us all to have that kind of time together.  I just thought this picture was fun.  "My brother from another mother!" These boys love/hate each other perfectly!

Kedzie's third dance recital with Premier Dance and she couldn't have loved it any more!
She was in two shows, so the day was filled with dance.  One show with our family in attendance.

The other show with sweet, supportive Thelma and little brother and mom in attendance.
She was fantastic.

She can finally do some acrobatic moves.  She's great at cartwheels!

But tap is where she's really excelled!  First, who wouldn't excel with these costumes?! Second, there were only six girls in the level II class, so they progressed quite rapidly.  They were one class selected to perform at Thorntonfest and they were fabulous!  Can't wait to see what progress she makes in tap next year!

Brooke and Kedzie at Thorntonfest

The most exciting thing this spring really was the daily checking of the mama duck that made a nest in our neighbors bushes.  The saddest part was the day we headed to Utah and the ducks hatched!  We missed the whole thing, but thanks to our neighbor, we got a picture of the 10 little ducklings!

Aubrey and Kedzie, would be best friends if Aubrey would only get her mom to move to Colorado! Her mom, is Alison!  Alison is the only person outside my family that I've stayed connected with since we were babies!  It's amazing actually!

Here we are!  We, out of pure luck, were able to spend an hour together during our trip to Utah and catch up a bit away from facebook and blogs.  It's amazing to think that we've stayed connected for over 36 years!

The boys participated in a week long soccer camp and loved it! I love that they love soccer, that Travis can tolerate soccer, and that they are good at soccer.  The boys are in there somewhere!

Travis and I at a work party at the YMCA!  Fun!

Cali and Kedzie, best friends!  Hoping to go to college together, but that would only mean Kedzie would have to go to BYU, or Cali would have to go to USU.  They are only 8, so they've got time to decide!  Anyway, they planned with their moms to go on a date night last week!  They picked the restaurant and had a list written with all the stores we were to go to!  We did it all, including riding bikes through REI!  Grateful for the Cottrell's in our lives!

They are such silly girls.  Love them!!!

The annual Erie Town Fair Balloon festival! A must for us, as long as the weather is cooperating.  We had a great morning.  Pretty impressive site!

I'm grateful for my life, for my children, for my husband and for my challenges.  We are truly blessed.
