Spring has sprung!

So, Spring has sprung at our house.  Our tulips have come and gone, we paid a friend to come take care of all the "dead" in the yard, Kedzie and Ethan are full on into soccer (hilarious!) and Alex is about to celebrate his first birthday!  It's beautiful here, when the wind isn't blowing us away.  Gotta love spring time in Colorado.
I just thought this picture was so cute.  My boys!  Ethan got a great new hair cut and is almost fully potty trained.  Oh it's taken a long, long, long time.  Alex is walking and talking and falling and laughing and playing.  His favorite right now is the sand box and being outside with his siblings.  He's mad if he's stuck inside with me!  I'm glad that he fits right in with his big brother and sister.
As you can see by Alex's expression and dirty face, he has a favorite eating location.  Yes, that would be Chipotle.  Sadly for those in Utah, you don't get to take truly delicious beans and rice with sides.  Yummmy.  Alex will wolf down half a bowl of the stuff and makes a wonderful mess when doing it.  Such a proud mom!
We went to the Butterfly Pavilion yesterday where my kids got to hold a huge tarantula names Rosie.  Wow!  I didn't participate, but was happy to take their pictures.
Ethan was lucky enough to have a sweet, little butterfly land on his arm and crawl up his shirt.  It made his whole day.  We had a fun morning.  Grandma Mary went with us and had a lot of fun too.
We are staying busy and enjoying spring.  Only a few weeks left of pre-school and then it's summer vacation where we are going to be busier than ever enjoying all sorts of wonderful activities.  Life is good.  We are truly blessed.

OK, I just have one argument to make. And that is, you do NOT have to love spring in Colorado! I absolutely refuse to love it. There. I am taking a stand.

I love Ethan's haircut, I hardly recognized him! I would not have been able to be in the same room with the arachnid (I don't even like saying the s word) let alone take a picture of it on my daughter!!! AHHHHH!
