So, today is March 26, 2009. Last week we were wearing flip flops and eagerly watching the tulips poke out of the ground. Yesterday, we were excited to see all the "popcorn" popping on the trees and today you ask...the Spring Blizzard of 2009.
These pictures were taken at 8am this morning. The storm started at 6am and it hasn't let up. All the chairs in these pictures are currently covered and unrecognizable. It just took Travis an hour to dig out our drive way. It isn't supposed to end until tomorrow morning. My mom was coming in this afternoon and her flight was cancelled. So, we are really experiencing a doozy. We haven't seen this much snow in about two years. It's great, don't get me wrong. Just a big surprise. We have had Travis home with us today which has been fun. The kids have played outside and "helped" with the shoveling. It's a quiet, calm day. (We think we've got about 12 inches in total).
Also, for those of you in Utah and are curious...here we are! This was taken at the beginning of the month, so I'm even bigger than pictured. But, this baby is coming right along! Only six weeks left. We also think we've finally come up with a name. Alex. What do you think? We feel pretty good about it, but I guess when we see him, we'll know for sure.

Travis told me the name last Sunday, and I like it! :) It fits with Ethan, and Kedzie. You look fab, but I bet you can't wait!! :)

You look great! Alex is a great name. It is so much pressure to name someone. It is nice to have one picked. I have three more baby names in mind, and it drives Josh CRAZY. He wants to have a say in the baby names, but I have them picked. (He doesn't have any good ideas anyway. I think we may have gotten your winter blizzard today. We have a good today foot of snow and there is no indication of it letting up.
Alex is a great name - you look fabulous! However, I am glad that you got all the snow and that it barely sprinkled us and melted by noon the same day.
You look awesome for only six weeks left. Love the name Alex and it sounds like you are getting Utah weather, sunny one day, snow the next.

Yeah you look so great!! I think the name Alex is cute. One of Ben's (Aaron's brother) sons name is Alex. (Don't you like how everyone has a story about a name. ) Well, Ellie informed us yesterday we need to come up with a boy name in case we have a boy. Interesting...
