We painted and carved pumpkins on Sunday evening with the Holland and Vehar families. Such a fun and entertaining activity. Paint and seeds just a flyin'. We had a great time.
As you can see, Ethan won the prize for most creative pumpkin painting! He had it in his hair as well...thanks Dana! He was thrilled with the opportunity he found himself in; to paint his body as well as his pumkin! He did a great job.
And Kedzie, well she had to paint one pumpkin and carve another! She was a busy girl. Rather, mom did the gutting and dad the carving. Awesome. Both kids are so proud of our pumpkins out on the front step. They check on them a number of times a day to make sure all is well. I love this Halloween Season. The craziest holiday if you think about it. But, we just love the candy, the pumpkins and the dressing up. What could be better?!

Emily,
That looks like so much fun! We love Halloween too.
You probably don't remember us- Matt, my husband and I (Crystal), were in the Maplewood YSA together a long time ago. It's been 11 years. Matt was the Institute President and I was on the FHE committee. Matt hung out with Rich Hendershot, and was in medical school at the time. Anyway, I found you through Elise Belnap's Facebook profile.
You look great and you have such a cute family. Feel free to stop by our little blog- docfamily.blogspot.com
Take care,
Matt and Crystal Fowler
Halloween's the best!
Totally unrelated question, but I totally love your main picture, where did you get that done?
very cute. I am a fan of Halloween myself.
With the beautiful weather this year we carved pumpkins outside. I think that is the only way to go! It looks like at least the kids had a great time.
